POWER FOR EVERYDAY LIFE. A PLAN FOR WHEN IT STOPS.

Solar planner

Build a daily solar budget.

Estimate energy from a panel, compare it with daily use and see whether energy is left to recharge.

Your assumptions

Total nominal panel power.
Maximum accepted power; confirm voltage/current separately.
Energy-equivalent hours, not the length of daylight.
Adjust for conditions and conversion into the battery.
Include appliance conversion losses and internal draw.
Nominal stored energy.
Current battery level.
Must be at least the starting level.
Daily energy estimate

Potential energy under your assumptions, before any battery-full curtailment.

Assumptions & formula

Daily harvest = min(panel watts × yield fraction, station input limit) × equivalent full-sun hours.

Net energy = harvest − daily battery-side use. Energy to target = capacity × (target% − start%) / 100. Days to target = energy to target / positive net energy.

This simplified daily model does not simulate hourly weather, charging taper, battery-full curtailment, nighttime depletion or charge/discharge timing. A positive balance does not guarantee uninterrupted power.

A planning scenario, not a solar forecast.

Yield and sun hours are your assumptions. The input-power limit does not validate electrical compatibility: check voltage, current and connectors in the equipment manuals. Use a lower-production scenario as well as a favorable one.
